Message of supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei to the national congress of 7000 martyred women in the country
In the name of God the compassionate the merciful
Today, you are gathered here to bow to the army of thousands of martyred women who played a significant role to change the course of history of Islam and the country and went to God’s presence proudly. They were an army of angles who did their utmost to Islam. They didn’t look on and stepped on the field and appeared in role of architects of new Iran. They were great women who presented a new definition of woman to the East and West.
In the East, woman was merely introduced as a partly element has no role to make in history, and in the West, she introduced as a creature whom her sex outweighs her humanity and she is a sex object for men in the modern capitalism. Heroines of the Revolution and Holy Defense proved a third pattern is “neither East nor West woman”. An Iranian Muslim woman opened a new history to the eyes of all women in the world and she proved a woman can be a woman, can be dignity, can be veiled and righteous and yet can be at the hub of things. She proved a woman can keep clean trench of her family and also make some new trenches in political and social fields and give some great victories. The women who combined feminine kindness and mercy with the spirit of Jihad, martyrdom and resistance and conquered the most masculine fields by their bravery, devoutness and sacrifice.
Through the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense, appeared some women who can globalize definition of woman and her presence in the area of her own development and edification, area of maintaining a safe home and a stable family, area of social wilayah and Jihad of “the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice” and can break big dead ends.
In the modern age, thanks to the blood of these Mujahid women, appeared a new authority and charisma which influenced on women in the world of Islam at first and it will change fate and position of all women in the world sooner or later.
As long as the light of presence of Hazrat-e Khadijah (a.s.), Hazrat-e Zahra (a.s.) and Hazrat-e Zeinab (a.s.) is shining, the new and old anti-woman plans will have not result, and thousands of our Karbalaie women, not only broke black lines of apparent oppressions, but they could dishonor modern oppressions on woman. They showed that right of holy dignity of woman, is the highest rights of hers that never being shown in the so-called modern world and today, is the time to know it. I congratulate family of these sublime martyrs and I hope, thanks to blood of these Mujahid and righteous women, the media, artists, the wise people and film-makers can display the great Jihad of an Iranian Muslim woman to the world which needs to know it heavily.
The Iranian Muslim and Mujahid woman will be the second teacher for all women in the world after the Mujahid women of Islam who were the first teacher.
Peace be upon to Hazrat-e Zahra (a.s.), the great lady of Islam, and to all great women of Islam and to all selfless women of Islamic Iran.
